#CreativeChangeMakers – A call for Artists to Unite for Global Change
Today I am setting out to do some “groundbreaking.” Better said I am setting out for you to do something groundbreaking because the purpose of this post is to spark something which we make viral together for a purpose.
#CreativeChangeMakers is an initiative calling on artists and creatives worldwide to unleash their visionary ideas into the public domain, fostering a global community of innovation aimed at tackling some of the most pressing challenges of our time.
We have all sat down and sketched ideas, or fiddled about with concepts and ideas which change places, transforms things, or even creates new ideas for things which could happen. Many of these ideas will never see the light of day, or be posted anywhere. Most will never be seen.
Under the banner #CreativeChangeMakers, this project encourages artists to share their sketches, concepts, and plans as open source, allowing others to bring these ideas to life and effect positive change in society.

IDEAS – Vertical farming is not a foreign or alien concept, it is actually very much present in our global society. During the pandemic and after having spend years researching the idea, I realised how important such a concept was in relation of national security. Gibraltar has no farming or means of producing its own food so actually having something like this would make sense to create a sustainable resource which provides under national security times like the pandemic. Its an idea which will also make someone money because it becomes an economically viable proposition, however, the idea is as good as the paper it is written on if nobody takes it up. This is where #CreativeChangeMakers comes in. One day someone will look for the hashtag and ideas related to it and will see it and hopefully take it up.
A Vision for a Better World
Too often, brilliant ideas remain hidden within the pages of sketchbooks or are shelved due to a lack of resources or commercial viability. #CreativeChangeMakers seeks to change this by creating an open-source platform where artists can freely share their ideas, hoping to inspire action and collaboration. Whether it’s an innovative solution to climate change, a community project to uplift a neighborhood, or a fresh take on sustainable living, these ideas can now be accessed, adapted, and implemented by anyone.

IDEAS – #CreativeChangeMakers – imagine harvesting the levanter cloud over Gibraltar. Foolish concept? Well i came up with this some four years ago and now even children are thinking the same in school projects. and this is what #CreativeChangeMakers could push forward, getting the younger generations thinking too.
A Collaborative Effort for Impact
This initiative is more than just a hashtag; it is a call to action. By encouraging artists to release their ideas without the expectation of financial gain or credit, #CreativeChangeMakers fosters a spirit of collective goodwill. The aim is to bridge the gap between creative minds and those in positions to actualize these visions, such as business leaders, producers, politicians, and community organizers.

IDEAS – #CreativeChangeMakers – a derelict cargo ship is decommissioned and allowed to grow a mini rainforest. Berthed away from the public and allowed to exist without human interference the mini rainforest will become its own mini lunge for the area it is located in and will provide its on microenvironment. Using AI is a way of generating ideas beyond the sketchbook and allowing others to visualise.
Join the Movement
Artists and creatives are invited to contribute their ideas using the hashtag #CreativeChangeMakers across social media platforms. In doing so, they join a global network of individuals committed to making a difference through art and creativity. This movement is about more than individual recognition; it’s about creating tangible, positive changes in our communities and our world.
About #CreativeChangeMakers
#CreativeChangeMakers is an initiative dedicated to harnessing the power of artistic vision to drive social change. By providing a platform for artists to share their ideas openly, the project aims to inspire a collaborative approach to problem-solving and innovation, addressing issues such as climate change, community development, and social justice.
#CreativeChangeMakers will not have any specific official website, any official social page or even contact information, it is aimed to be a collective process with no structure and based on one ideology – creating a common denominator which joins artists and creatives globally to put forward their ideas as open source which could influence for a better world for ALL.
#CreativeChangeMakers is itself an opensource concept in which you can create your own websites, your own social media pages, your own publications, events and happenings.
Lets create to make a change. Lets own it.
#CreativeChangeMakers. – MAKE THE HASHTAG GO VIRAL and lets make it happen only you can do it.
Here are some of my ideas that have stayed in my sketchbooks or hidden in social media and which in those years i could have been using the hashtag #CreativeChangeMakers

IDEAS – #CreativeChangeMakers – If you are from Gibraltar you might remember the day the generating station exploded. I was working on this concept at the time on sketchup. The idea was to reclaim the area of the port of Gibraltar and extend the reclamation area of westside to North Mole, moving the port further out into the bay, This would do two things, one create new residential zone and secondly provide to develop a modern port which would cater for much more than it presently does. It would also mean a shift of location for the detached mole and its use which would essentially impact on bunkering, in a positive way for the environment too. Reclamation would be costly, so I started looking at other areas instead of filling in a waterway instead build on top of it, which is where the hexagonal city came about. Floating modules put together to create the area to be developed. Three industries would benefit, developers, construction and shipbuilding, as the modules could be build at our own docks. And the community would also benefit with more residential space, which is flexible enough to me moved around, and new modern methods in building implemented. 3D Printing construction, Modules, use of container modules as another example, green walls, living green spaces, green rooftops, solar power, wind power, etc etc. The potentials in what would be a blank canvas would be immense and with the added potential that unlike permanent foundations of buildings on land, on a floating module in time the module can be moved out and replaced to provide a space for a replacement with possibly a new and more efficient function.
